Who We Are
Are you dying to know a little bit about our instructional staff?
Well here you go! Below you will see a brief bio on a few of our coaches and how they have become so awesome! Enjoy!

Head Coach and Founder of Alpha Krav Maga, Sam Sade. Mr. Sade served in the IDF (Israeli Defensive Force) for many years and has won several body building and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu championships. Coach Sade was the Head Trainer for Krav Mega Worldwide before creating the Alpha Krav Maga International organization. Coach Sam continues to not only train everyday himself, but personally certifies all Alpha Coaches.

Master Edmondson/Coach Joe has been in martial arts since the early age of 4. He received his 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in the year 2000, as well as his 1st degree Black Belt in Hapkido, the Korean art of Self Defense. Master Edmondson has competed in Olympic Tae Kwon Do and won 4 National Championships and another 9 World Champions in Full Contact/Point Fighting. He retired from competition in 2003 after having a severe injury to his back. It was then that he began training in Krav Maga, where he currently trains with the Head Coach of Alpha Krav Maga International, Sam Sade

Grandmaster George Bell has been involved in martial arts since he was a young boy. He has not only owned and operated many schools in the Southwest, but was a member of the Olympic Training Center team for Olympic Tae Kwon Do. Grandmaster Bell has won several National Championships, has been featured on ESPN2, and has trained/coached several Olympic hopeful athletes. He currently holds an 8th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido, as well as a Brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Coach Jordon has spent most of his childhood in his dad's martial arts studio, having studied the art of Tae Kwon Do for over 10 years and earning his preliminary Black Belt. He is a certified Alpha Krav Maga Level 1 Coach. After much deliberation with Master Edmondson, we were able to convince Jordon to join us here at World Champions where he has made a welcome addition to our team.

Coach Jesse has been a martial arts enthusiast since his early years. He served our country in the Armed Forces and is currently retired military. Coach Jesse has trained in several martial arts, but most recently has found a love of Krav Maga. He is a certified Alpha Krav Maga Level 1 Instructor and has been teaching kids and adults at our facility for quite some time.

Why Choose Us

No matter what your goals are, we can help you achieve them through our dynamic martial arts training.

Here are some examples of how the martial arts, and the styles that we teach in-particular,  can help you or your child succeed at reaching your goals and thrive.

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal;
it is the courage to continue that counts."
                                 - Winston Churchhill

Confidence:  is simply feeling more comfortable in a given situation or activity. Our program teaches both children and adults how to feel more confident in their ability to defend themselves and their loved ones by utilizing the most realistic self-defense techniques. Give yourself or your child the gift of confidence by joining our program today.
Discipline: The definition of discipline is to make the right decision at the right time. Given multiple choices, it is not always easy to make those decisions. With children especially, it takes practice on a daily basis to know which decision will get the best result. Our program will teach them how/when to use what they learn in class effectively.
Perseverance: is simply pushing through a chore or activity, even when it gets hard. Teaching perseverance is not easy. It comes over time and lots and lots of discussion, hard work and effort. Your body and mind get stronger with each class, taking more to push you to your limit. The more you train, the better you become.
Respect: is earned, not given. Teaching children and adults alike how to show respect is no easy task. Just like anything else in martial arts, it takes practice to become second nature. Unless you were raised in a strict household, respect for others does not come naturally. You would think otherwise, but that's not the case. This is one of the most important things we teach in the martial arts. Learning to treat others as you would like to be treated is one of life's great lessons.
Focus: This is probably the biggest reason parents enroll their children in our program. With each and every class, learning to focus on an activity and not getting distracted means your child is growing into the person you envision them to be. Having lots of energy is not a bad thing, we just need to learn how/where to channel that energy. We have exceptional instructors that are pros at helping your child grow in this area.
Strength/Fitness: When people think about strength, they usually envision someone very strong. Strength comes in many shapes and forms. It can be physical, as well as mental. Having the strength to stand up for what you believe in. Standing up to bullies, peer pressure, social media standards and such is not as easy today as it was when I was a kid. It takes time to develop these muscles, just like those on your body. We help you get strong, both physically and mentally.

"When I started my son in the Skillz program, I kinda knew what to expect, or at least I thought I did. The team at World Champions continue to amaze me with their patience, knowledge and skill level. So much so that I decided to join Krav Maga and learn to kick butt too!."

- Norma M. -

"I've always wanted to learn Krav Maga. My time in the military taught me some basic Self-Defense techniques. This training takes it to a whole new level. You would be hard pressed to find a better place to learn."

- Joe H. -

"I'm a lifer. Absolutely love it. I am in law enforcement and I have to say this is the best close quarters combat training I've ever received. It is 100% applicable to LEO's daily operations. I've used several techniques in recent encounters and they were extremely effective. The coaches and classmates are very friendly and it feels as though you join a Krav family when you walk through the door. This is highly recommended."

- Brandi J. -

"I've been training here for about two months and loved it from the first class. I liked that atmosphere here so much, I enrolled my daughter as well. Now it has become a family affair. I highly recommend at the very least, come and try a class and see for yourself."

- Chris L. -

"Going here is the best! Everyone feels like part of the family. The coaches know everyone by name, notice when you aren't there and truly miss you, and most importantly, are constantly pushing you and encouraging you to work your hardest AND be proud of what you have accomplished at the end of a particularly tough class. I can't imagine my week without my regular destress sessions now!"

Our Programs
With a variety of programs to choose from, including Krav Maga, Fitness Kickboxing, Kids Martial Arts, After School and Kids Camps; we have something for everyone.
Fitness Kickboxing
Our Fitness Kickboxing and Muay Thai programs are second to none. Not only will you get an amazing workout, burning up to 800 calories in one session; but you will have a lot of fun doing it. You will learn the correct way to punch, kick and use your body as a weapon. Reducing your risk of injury is a top priority of our instructional team. If you are looking to get a great workout, have fun, make friends and feel more confident with each class...then this is the program for you.
Krav Maga
In hebrew, means Contact Combat. Practiced by our U.S. Military and over 400 law enforcement agencies nationwide as their form of Self-Defense, Krav Maga is taking over as the most realistic, practical way to learn to defend yourself and your loved ones. With a mix of several martial arts, such as Muay Thai, Boxing, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Judo and Kali; you will feel more confident with each class. Building our students ability and confidence level is a great reward for our team of coaches.
Kids Martial Arts
Contrary to popular opinion, not all martial arts schools/instructors are created equal. More times than not, people will choose their training facility based on location and convenience. Often, they end up not getting what they want out of a program and stopping martial arts all together. Imagine if you dined at a restaurant and it wasn't to your liking. Are you going to stop eating food? With our Age-Specific martial arts program for kids, we teach based on the 8 core stages of development that your child is going through at his/her particular age group. This facilitates the learning process and creates a fun and safe environment in which to learn.

"Bumped into this place several weeks ago and so glad we did! Our girls are learning some very valuable lessons here. We couldn't have picked a better place to introduce them to this style of martial arts. Great Instructors!"

- Sandra W. -

"Our 14 year old daughter started taking classes here a year ago. I cannot speak highly enough about the instructors and what they have done for our daughter. She walks into a room with confidence and now knows she has the strength and skill to take on any situation. As parents of a beautiful, tall and 100 pound young lady... we find comfort in the fact she can protect herself. We are very proud of her and excited as she progresses through the next levels. In addition to great instructors, the facilities are very nice and well maintained."

- Candy L. -

"Good first class. Even our shy child was participating 100%."

- Doug Henderson -

"The absolute best around! My daughter loves the classes and her instructors."

- Matt L. -

"Since the first day my son step into Master Edmondson's World Champions Training Centers, he felt confident that this was the place he wanted to be training to achieve his Black Belt. Everyone is so positive but serious about teaching the proper techniques. Every week he looks forward to training."

Your Questions Answered
What is the best age to start?
The honest answer is any age. You are never to young or old to start learning and martial arts is a great tool to build self-esteem, confidence and learn some cool self-defense skills. We have students as young as 3 years old, up to 80 years old.

How do I know which program is best for me?
The best way to determine this would be to sit down with one of our coaches and talk about your goals. With a variety of programs to choose from, I'm sure we would have something to fit your needs.

How much will it cost me?
The cost of our programs depend on which program you choose, your length of commitment and how many classes you would attend on a monthly basis. We have programs that range from $99 - $229 per month.

Can I do multiple programs?
The answer is yes. Our program has multiple levels. With certain levels, usually Level 3 and up, you can attend multiple programs within that package.

When does the Early Enrollment Opportunity Go Away?
How this chance to save money works is on your first class, we give you the opportunity to save $30 per month off our regular program price, as well as a discounted enrollment fee. Each week that you wait to enroll, that price rises by $10 until our normal rate is reached. For example, on day one, our pricing is $159 per month. The next week it is now $169 per month, and so on until our normal $189 price is reached.

Will I need additional equipment?
The answer is yes. With our starter pack, you will have everything you need to get going initially, but as you progress with us; you will need additional safety equipment.

What happens when my child wants to do other sports?
We not only understand when this happens, but we expect it to happen. Our procedure is to give our team a minimum of 30 days notice to switch your program to one of our other levels, which will require fewer days of attendance each month.

What if I go on vacation?
If you are on vacation for more than 2 weeks, you can utilize our freeze policy. With this policy, you are able to pause your unused time up to 2x per year for a maximum of 30 days each time. Your payments would continue as normal, and the unused time would be added to the end of your agreement.

How do I cancel my membership?

With our 7 or 12 month agreements, you may cancel your commitment at any time after the required commitment has been fulfilled by sending us your cancellation notice either by email or certified mail. Your payments will continue until your commitment has been completed.
Do you offer discounts for family member add-ons?

We do offer additional savings when you add a family member to your program. We value our students and appreciate your family members joining. We show this appreciation by giving a 20% savings off our regular program price for each additional member added.
